Christian Education
This fall exciting things are happening with our Christian education program. We have added a new
Sunday School class for children ages 2-4. We have also changed our curriculum for our elementary age
children to "Living the Good News." This curriculum is lectionary based so that the children will be
hearing the same Scripture in both Sunday School and worship. We also plan on offering "The Way of the Child"
program again soon. This program was offered every Sunday afternoon during Lent and offered children ages 5-11
the opportunity to learn and practice spiritual disciplines as they gained a deeper understanding of Lent.
Our older elementary and youth classes continue to meet regularly and have special events planned this fall.
(Laser tag was so much fun we’ll be going again soon!)
Our adult class uses "The Present Word" curriculum and have just started to study Genesis for the quarter.
This class is taught with great skill by John Roberts, a graduate of the Lay School of Theology.
Our mid-week Bible Study has resumed. We are studying the Book of Romans and meet twice on Wednesdays,
in the morning at 10am and in the evening at 7pm.
